Nicole Sykes
Nicole has over 22 years’ experience working in progressive corporates that work closely with Innovative entrepreneurs and most recently her focus has been on female business owners. During this time Nicole has had the luxury of assisting entrepreneurs with their growth and success stories.
Nicole has, though the journeys of her clients and through her own personal experiences, witnessed the difficulties of starting, running and scaling a business in our rapidly changing environment.
Currently, Nicole is managing the FNB Women in Business Niche with the aim to assist female clients with their growth, recognise their successes, and partner with them to increase their ability to influence the community in which they operate.
Nicole has also played an active role in the social community. She has been a representative on the FNB CSI Fund Board whose focus is on education and making a sustainable change in the lives of previously disadvantaged youth as well as focussing on Early Childhood education. Most recently she has been involved with supporting organisations that focus on gender-based violence and the impact that this has on households in all communities.
Like most women Nicole is multi-faceted and wears many hats. She is a perennial student and has just completed a post grad diploma in Digital Business. She also has a passion for fitness and nutrition which she turned into her “side-hussle” with the use of technology. She also believes in giving back and contributing to society and so sits as a non-executive director in an advisory capacity for an NGO.
